Strictly Come Dancing 2023 Finalists – Ellie and Vito

Here we go with the first part in my series where I’ll be taking a look at each of the finalists and their Strictly journeys so far. I will be taking them in the order of qualification which means we begin with Ellie and Vito

Worst Routine

We have to go back to week four to find their lowest scoring routine. Their Samba scored just 28 points (7,7,7,7)

Best Routine

Ellie and Vito have fallen one point shy of a maximum on two occasions. The first was during week 7 when their American Smooth was held out from the top score by Craig (9,10,10,10). This routine is being reprieved during the final as their favourite dance

Then two weeks later they were denied a perfect score at Blackpool for their Charleston with Craig again being the hold out (9,10,10,10)

Average Score

Ellie and Vito have amassed a grand total of 458 points across 13 routines making for an average score of 35.2. This is the second highest average score of the finalists

Number of times in the dance off

Ellie and Vito are the only finalists to have never found themselves in the dance off

Can they win?

At this point in time the better question seems to be “can they lose”. Ellie and Vito have been insanely popular throughout this series. They’ve topped most of the polls I have run and by a considerable margin. At the time of writing over half of you want them to take the glitterball based on the poll I ran after the semi final with their nearest competitors languishing some 40% behind them in the poll. They are also odds on favourites with the bookies and have been for some weeks and some bookies have even closed the book. Only one other couple seemed to fill the “journey” criteria and they were eliminated last week.

All of this means it is very hard to see anything besides Ellie and Vito lifting the glitterball!

Do you agree? Will you be supporting Ellie and Vito? You can let me know your thoughts over on Facebook, X, Instagram and Threads. All this series I’ve been running a competition where you can take the prize for that week or hand it back for a place in the final to be held before the end of the year where one of you will be winning a £500 voucher. But for the final weekend there are no more vouchers to be won and no more decisions to be made. But three of you who get involved in the discussion this weekend will be joining the other finalists to potentially win a £500 amazon voucher. Full competition details can be found here!

Don’t forget there is the festive spoiler. I promise not to tell Santa you’ve peeked!

Do I provide you with a useful service? That service costs me a lot to run with over £2.5k in hosting costs to keep this site up at peak times last year which is a ludicrous amount at the best of times never mind during a cost of living crisis! If you want to help me out with these costs with a one time donation (or just thank me for all the spoilers) you can do so using THIS LINK or the button below. Please only do so if you can afford to do and there is no obligation on anyone to help me out this way.

Or why not join the crew on patreon? Patreon subscribers gain exclusive access to the results of the exit poll each week. The earliest indication as to how the public vote has gone providing a possible spoiler hours before any other source as soon as The BBC vote closes each week. If that’s not enough the spoiler will be shared to patreon subscribers free of other monetisation in an ad free form! All for a voluntary level of contribution starting from less than the price of a coffee each month!

Strictly Come Dancing 2023 – Week 12 (Semi Final Part 2) Discussion/Poll

The second part of what has become a two week semi final is here and there’s just two dances, three counting the dance off, separating our four remaining couples from next week’s final.

But who is a finalist and who has overstayed their welcome? You can let me know your thoughts over on Facebook, X, Instagram and Threads. Each time you get involved in the discussion on those networks you earn a chance to win prizes ranging up to a massive £500 Amazon voucher. But only the brave will win big. Full competition details can be found here!

Not one but two polls will be opening here when all the couples have danced. The first one asks the usual question of who got your votes with the BBC this week. As normal you will be able to select up to 3 options in that poll. The second one asks which of the remaining couples you want to see lift the glitterball next weekend. There can only be one winner so you can only select one answer in this poll!

Strictly Come Dancing 2023 – Week 11 (Musicals Week) Discussion/Poll

It’s time to go to the musicals and our five four remaining couples have the final in two weeks time in sight. And there’s going to be lots to discuss this week with Nigel and Katya having to withdraw due to injury and byes not being available from the Quarter Final onwards. And one of the first things to discuss will be if there will be a dance off this week as it’s very much up in the air (at the time of writing)

But who was a West End Smash and who just looked smashed?

You can let me know your thoughts over on Facebook, X, Instagram and Threads. Each time you get involved in the discussion on those networks you earn a chance to win prizes ranging up to a massive £500 Amazon voucher. But only the brave will win big. Full competition details can be found here!

Not one but two polls will be opening here when all the couples have danced. The first one asks the usual question of who got your votes with the BBC this week (or if there is no elimination who WOULD HAVE got your vote). As normal you will be able to select up to 3 options in that poll. The second one asks which of the remaining couples you want to see in the final in two weeks time. Depending on what happens with this week’s elimination you will be able to select either 3 options if the elimination is cancelled or 2 options if it is not!
