Strictly Come Dancing 2020 – Week 6 Spoilers

The quarter final is tantalisingly close but for one of the couples its not close enough. Fortunately the Strictly Spoiler is on hand to deliver the spoilers you crave even during lockdown. So here are the results:

Clara and Jamie had to dance off. The judges saved Jamie (Craig – Clara, Motsi – Jamie, Shirley – Jamie). Clara was eliminated

Complaints to The BBC

This spoiler has come from sources who have been reliably providing me with the spoiler during lockdown and should be accurate

What do you think of the results? You can let me and the community know your thoughts on that or anything else to do with tonight’s show right here in the comments section or over on Facebook or Twitter.

No prizes for getting involved in the discussion sadly. You can read more about why (though the reasons should be obvious) over on my my FAQ post which also covers a lot of information about what is happening with this website under the current lockdown.

You can also still vote in this week’s poll and tell me who you voted for with The BBC or who your favourites were. You can as always select up to 3 options (if you voted for more than 3 people pick the three who got more votes from you or your favourite 3). If you can’t vote sadly the site thinks you are a robot. Theres some tips in the FAQ to get your vote registered.

Strictly 2020 Week 6 - Who got your vote? (choose up to 3)

It’s been a tough year for all of us but providing this site is still going to cost me close to £1000 this series. I always stress this on the donation links but it is more important than ever in 2020 that you only consider helping me out with these costs if you can afford to do so. I would not want to cause anyone else hardship because they chose to help me out. However all donations are as ever gratefully received. You can make a one time donation by clicking on THIS LINK or using the button below:

Also new for 2020 you can make a regular donation by becoming a patreon. Donations on patreon start at just the price of a coffee a month and if the patreon page takes off I can start looking at patreon exclusive content/rewards.

There’s also ways you can help me out for free and even make some money yourself by doing so. One way I’ve been plugging on social media a lot these last few weeks is by checking your energy prices and earning yourselves £50 in the bargain by switching using my magic link (you must complete the switch using the link and not just get a quote which you come back to later). Octopus energy have 100% green electricity, are a Which recommended supplier and were one of the few suppliers to maintain a full telephone service during the pandemic. They’re a different supplier to the one I was recommending last series and are definitely worth a look as we head into the colder months.

Switching energy suppliers is quick (it takes about 2 minutes to sign up from my link and usually about 3 weeks for the process to complete), there is no interruption to your energy supply, no engineers have to visit and you don’t need to change you meters (unless you sign up to a smart tariff and don’t have a compatible meter). I get £50 from every switch so this does help me out quite a bit.

Plus if you do switch don’t forget to enter their competition to win an electric car and other prizes too. You should find details on your account dashboard!

Alternatively you can help me out by doing things as simple as liking all my content, sharing it and getting involved in the discussions on the social networks. This all helps to increase my visibility and get me noticed on those networks and is also appreciated!

Strictly Come Dancing 2020 – Week 6 Discussion/Poll

It’s weird saying this in week 6 but we are ploughing into the business end of the competition now. The 7 remaining couples are all desperate for a place in next week’s quarter final (yes that sounds weird too!)

But who is a quarter finalist and who actually should have gone to Blackpool last weekend? You can let me know your thoughts about that or anything else to do with tonight’s show right here in the comments or by heading on over to Facebook or Twitter.

No prizes for getting involved in the discussion sadly. You can read more about why (though the reasons should be obvious) over on my my FAQ post which also covers a lot of information about what is happening with this site during lockdown 2.0 and possibly beyond.

As always I’ll be opening a poll right here when all the couples have danced. However the poll question has changed. I’m now asking who got your votes (or who would have if you live abroad and can’t vote or didn’t vote for another reason). You can as always select up to 3 options (if you voted for more than 3 people pick the three who got more votes from you or your favourite 3). If you can’t vote sadly the site thinks you are a robot. Theres some tips in the FAQ to get your vote registered but if the issue persists sadly I can’t do much about it

Strictly 2020 Week 6 - Who got your vote? (choose up to 3)

Other spoiler sources are struggling due to the lack of moles but The Strictly Spoiler prepared for the pandemic and was ready for lockdown. A spoiler based on my exit poll will be landing later tonight. It’s not been quite right the last two weeks but can give an indication as to how things have gone. Confirmation or correction should appear later tonight or some point tomorrow morning at the very latest so keep checking back right here at the home of The Strictly Spoiler for the latest information as and when I get it!

Caroline Quentin Eliminated From Strictly Come Dancing 2020

As revealed in this morning’s Strictly Spoiler, Caroline and Johannes have been eliminated after losing in the dance off to Maisie and Gorka.

Complaints to the BBC

You can relive their Cha Cha Cha from this week (though some of you might not want to looking at your comments) in the video below:

Did the right couple leave? As always you can let me know your thoughts about that or anything else to do with tonight’s not live results show right here in the comments or over on Facebook/Twitter.

You can still vote in this week’s poll and tell me who got your votes/who your favourites were. Like always you can select up to 3 options. Unless you are a robot. Then you can select zero options!

Strictly 2020 Week 5 - Who got your vote? (choose up to 3)

Massive thanks to all of you who now seem to be understanding how things are working here in Lockdown! The exit poll predicted Caroline in the dance off but got things VERY wrong as far as who was in the bottom two with her. Most of you seem to be realising now that the spoiler posted on Saturday night is intended as a guide and confirmation comes on Sunday mornings now. Sadly this is the only way I can continue to keep operating during lockdown and provide some kind of a spoiler to those who want it on a Saturday night while still providing confirmed results when I get them. Hopefully we have just one more week of things running like this and then can get back to normal!

Speaking of operating providing this site is still going to cost me close to £1000 this series especially as I now have to maintain powerful servers on Sundays as well as Saturday night due to increased demand across Sunday! I always stress this on the donation links but it is more important than ever in 2020 that you only consider helping me out with these costs if you can afford to do so. I would not want to cause anyone else hardship because they chose to help me out. However all donations are as ever gratefully received.
