Class of 2025 - Who are your favourites? (Select as many as you like)

You can also let me know your thoughts over on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Threads or BlueSky. No prizes on offer quite yet but there will be prizes on offer each week once the series kicks off proper. Don’t forget to follow me on all those networks to keep up with all things Strictly Spoiler and please give my posts a good old like/share to help get the word out there.

We are heading into the main season and operating this website is very expensive during the main series where my hosting bills can easily exceed £1000 per month. If you want to help me out with these costs or just want to thank me for the service I provide you can do so using this link or the button below. Please only consider making a donation if you can afford to do so.

Or why not subscribe on patreon? Patreon subscribers gain access to the results of the exit poll each week where I plug the results of my poll into Strictly’s scoring system to generate a potential result hours before the spoiler comes in as soon as the BBC vote closes. If that’s not enough the spoiler will be exclusively shared to patreon subscribers free of other monetisation in an ad free form! All for a voluntary level of contribution starting from around the price of a coffee each month. Furthermore if you sign up to Patreon on a monthly subscription right now and use code REVEAL20 you get 20% off your first month if you sign up before the end of Sunday 17th August. If you use an Apple device please sign up on the mobile web or a different device rather than the Patreon app as the app will cost you more to cover Apple processing fees and will also significantly delay your funds reaching me

Or new for 2025 you can now also subscribe on Facebook. Facebook subscribers also gain access to the above mentioned exit poll results where you learn how things may have gone within minutes of the BBC vote closing. You will also gain a unique subscriber badge on your comments over on Facebook. Again this is priced at around the price of a coffee each month.

Strictly Come Dancing 2024 Finalists – Tasha and Aljaz

Here we are with the final part in a four part series taking a look at the four finalists continuing in the order of qualification we move on to Tasha and Aljaz

Worst Routine

All the way back in week one Tasha and Aljaz scored a mere(!) 30 points for their Cha Cha (8,8,7,7)

Best Routine

Tasha and Aljaz have had the judges all reaching for their 10 paddles on two occasions. The first was during week 10 when their American Smooth had Craig dust the cobwebs off his 10 paddle (10,10,10,10)

Then again during last week’s semi final she wowed the judges with her Waltz (10,10,10,10)

Average Score

Tasha and Aljaz have amassed a total of 477 points across 13 routines making for an average score of 36.7. This is the highest average score of all the finalists

Number of times in the dance off

Tasha and Aljaz have survived two dance offs on route to the final. The first came during the quarter final when their Argentine Tango saw off Montell and Johannes (9,10,9,10)

Their second came during last week’s Semi Final. This time their Waltz (above) easily dispensed with Pete and Jowita (10,10,10,10)

Can they win?

Tasha and Aljaz are the best dancers left in on paper. Also like favourite’s to win Chris and Dianne and previous winner Rose, Tasha has a disability in the form of deafness. Unfortunately it’s a tough ask for someone who has been in two dance offs from a strong positition on the judges leaderboard to experience such a swing in public vote. Tasha is also getting beaten with the dance experience BS that someone tends to get beaten with every series even though that dance experience may be in different fields to Ballroom and Latin. The dance experience sledgehammer also doesn’t seem to get applied consistently and sometimes can be used as an excuse to bash a couple. But I digress, the question is can they win and the answer is probably not.

Final Routines

Tasha and Aljaz have a Show Dance to Sing, Sing, Sing by Benny Goodman. They are reprising their Couple’s Choice to What About Us by P!nk. Last time out this scored 39 (9,10,10,10)

Finally they will be reperforming their American Smooth to Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi. As covered above last time out this achieved a perfect score (10,10,10,10)
