Strictly Come Dancing 2017 – Week 5 Songs/Dances

Sorry this is a little late but real life got in the way. Who would have thought that studying a full time masters course during the week and working all weekend would be so demanding. Anyway the BBC on Tuesday revealed the songs/dances that the remaining couples will be performing tomorrow for our viewing pleasure. And they are…..

  • Alexandra and Gorka will dance the Samba to Shape Of You by Ed Sheeran
  • Aston and Janette will Waltz to Can’t Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley (MREE Cover)
  • Brian and Amy will Jive to It’s Not Unusual by Tom Jones
  • Davood and Nadiya perform the Jive to Tell Her About It by Billy Joel
  • Debbie and Giovanni dance the Rumba to Baby Can I Hold You by Tracy Chapman
  • Gemma and Aljaz will perform a Foxtrot to Believe by Madilyn Bailey
  • Joe and Katya perform a Paso Doble to Diablo Rojo by Rodrigo y Gabriela
  • Jonnie and Oti dance the Quickstep to Part-Time Lover by Stevie Wonder
  • Mollie and AJ will perform a Viennese Waltz to Anyone Who Had A Heart by Cilla Black
  • Ruth and Anton dance the Samba to Love Is In The Air by John Paul Young
  • Simon and Karen will perform a Charleston to Fit As A Fiddle (And Ready For Love) by Gene Kelly
  • Susan and Kevin will Cha Cha to Shout Out To My Ex by Little Mix

It’s also being reported that Bruno will not be on the judging panel due to other work commitments and there will be just 3 judges on the panel tomorrow.

What do you think of the song choices or the changes to the panel? You can let me know your thoughts on that right here in the comments or over on Facebook or Twitter.

Strictly Come Dancing 2017 – Week 4 Spoilers

Strictly left the movies behind but week 4 still saw its fair share of drama on the dance floor with the first 10’s of the series dished out to Alexandra and Gorka. But you haven’t come to read about that. You want to know who will be leaving in tomorrow’s not live results show. And thanks to The Strictly Spoiler you can learn just that. So here are the results

Davood and Charlotte had to dance off. The judges saved Davood (unanimously – all 4 judges saved Davood). Charlotte was eliminated

This week’s spoiler has come from an audience mole from a spoiler group who have previously provided spoilers to my usual sources and should be accurate. Spoiler has additionally been confirmed by a mole sourced by myself.

Complaints to the BBC

I’ve not one, not two, not even three BUT FOUR winners to tell you about this week, a change from the usual three I have each and every week.

Well done to Sam Bates on Facebook, Janet Langan on Twitter and Cheryl Harper-Coles who commented right here at the home of the Strictly Spoiler and all of whom have won a £20 Amazon UK voucher

Also to celebrate reaching 10k followers on Twitter this weekend I had a £50 Amazon voucher to give away to one lucky person who correctly predicted that a 10 paddle would be used this week. And that was won by Rosie on Twitter. Don’t worry Facebook users, your turn for a bonus spot prize will come soon!

Do you want to win prizes? Of course you do and it is so easy to enter to win.
