New Pro Dancer Revealed

The BBC today have revealed that a new dancer will be joining the pros already announced to be in the line up for the 2019 series. And I can reveal that it is none other than…….

Nancy Xu

Nancy was a finalist in the Chinese version of So You Think You Can Dance and has been a dancer in the Burn The Floor show.

Speaking to the BBC Nancy had this to say about her new role which was revealed on her 28th Birthday: “I’m thrilled and excited! I cannot wait to start this new journey with all these amazing people and share the magic together. Thank you so much Strictly for one of the most beautiful birthday gifts ever, thank you for making my dream come true!”

New Judge Revealed

The BBC have today (finally!) announced who will be replacing Dame Darcey on the judging panel and I can reveal that the new judge is………

Motsi Mabuse

Motsi is no stranger to the judging panel having worked as a judge on the German version of Strictly since 2011 following a stint as a pro since 2007. She is also the sister of Strictly Pro Oti Mabuse.

Speaking to the BBC Motsi had this to say about her new role: “I am absolutely overjoyed to be joining the Strictly judging panel. I have so much respect and admiration for the other three judges and hope to add my own bit of sparkle to the show. I can’t wait to get started!”
