Strictly Come Dancing 2016 – Christmas Special Discussion

We may already know the results thanks to the most talked about spoiler this site has ever run (as featured in The Daily Star, The Daily Mirror, The Sun, The Daily Mail and much much more) but the Strictly Christmas Special is finally here.

Who was a Christmas Cracker? And who was a Turkey? Most importantly did the right person win? You can let me know your thoughts on anything to do with today’s Christmas Special right here in the comments or over on Facebook or Twitter. It’s Christmas so I’ll probably be too drunk to read your comments but post them anyway ?

As I’ve said on Facebook and Twitter, I won’t be working (yes this is actually becoming a part time job for me believe it or not) on Christmas Day so there won’t be a tweet or Facebook along to the show and this post has been set up to automatically post before the start of the show.

No polls today either, there doesn’t seem to be any point in polling you on something you already know the outcome of.

I’d like to take the opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Obviously things will now start getting quiet here at the home of the Strictly Spoiler for a while now (unless the BBC take on my April Fool idea of running a year long series) but I’ll be back sometime around August next year with the pre series build up and may post strictly news from time to time if I get chance.

Strictly Come Dancing 2016 – Final Discussion/Polls

Here we are. After 11 elimination spoilers, the pairings spoiler, a few contestant spoilers and of course who could forget the Christmas Special Spoiler we’ve reached the day of the final.

I’m opening this discussion post a little earlier than usual because I want to give you somewhere to discuss things before the final kicks off as well as during it!

Plus I want to open the first of a few polls I’ll be running today. In this first poll we’re pretending that we are having a 4 couple final. I want you to tell me which of the eliminated participants you would want to see take the 4th place in the final? Will you go for Claudia and AJ since they made the final four anyway? Or will you bring back the man, the legend that is Ed Balls? Maybe Melvin and Janette get your vote because they were never really given a chance? Or will you go for Will and Karen whose Strictly journey was cut short? Or perhaps any of the other eliminated couples? This is the final week of the Strictly Spoiler competition with all entries now closing at midnight tomorrow night (18th December 2016). I’ve extended the closing date to now cover the final weekend to give you one last chance to join the discussion and win.

Strictly Come Dancing 2016 – Week 12 Discussion/Poll

The end is in sight! It’s the Semi Final and the couples have not one but two dances to wow the public with. Who coped with the pressure of two routines and who is starting to crack?

You can let me know your thoughts on anything to do with tonight’s show right here in the comments section (make sure you are clicked into the article itself rather than the home page or the comments section won’t show below) or why not head on over to Facebook or Twitter (remember to tag @davejthorp and include #StrictlySpoiler on Twitter).

Each time you join in with the discussion you will earn entries into the final week of the Strictly Spoiler competition. I’m extending this week to include the whole of next weekend as well so you’ll be able to earn entries by discussing next week’s final as well. The site has also had a facelift this week. If you have any issues using the site please let me know in the comments or on the social networks and I’ll take a look. I’m already aware of an issue with the sidebar adverts when viewed in portrait orientation on a tablet. I can’t do much about this at the moment as I’m having to use mostly fixed ad sizes at the moment due to an incompatibility with responsive ad sizes. The issue doesn’t affect site content and you can work around it by turning your tablet to landscape. If you spot any other issues please let me know
