Tom Fletcher Tests Positive For Covid-19

It has been announced by McFly on Twitter that Tom Fletcher has had to pull out of a concert tonight due to a positive Covid test

It is unknown at this time as to if this will affect Tom’s place in Strictly. The rules allow for a one week bye so in theory Tom should be able to complete his isolation and not have to withdraw

Tom’s professional partner Amy has also tested positive and will be isolating too

My costs are soon going to sky rocket and last year hosting was costing me well over £500 a month. You can help me out with these costs by making a one time donation using THIS LINK or the button below. Please only do so if you can afford to do so and there is no obligation on anyone to help me out this way.

Or join the crew on Patreon. Octopus have cheap green renewable energy, are a Which recommended supplier and are routinely cheaper than the energy price cap that many suppliers set their prices based on. The energy market is in turmoil at the moment with prices sky rocketing and the energy price cap due to rise by about £150 so this is a really good time to check you are on the best deal and lock in the best deal you can before the winter.

BBC Opens Audience Ticket Ballot For 2021 Series

The BBC have in the last few days opened the audience ticket ballot for the 2021 series. Anyone wishing to be in the audience can apply to The BBC at The BBC Shows and Tours website.

The ballot is open until 10pm on 25th August 2021. Reviewing the website there are a few things to take away from the information there about how audiences and the 2021 series will work in general

  1. The Launch Show is being filmed on Saturday 11th September 2021. It is not clear if the show will be broadcast live on this date or if it is being pre recorded like normal for broadcast on a future date. This means there may not be a pairings spoiler if the show goes out live
  2. The main series runs as expected starting from 25th September 2021 until the final on 18th December 2021. The first spoiler weekend will be on 2nd October 2021 (just after the cut off date for my September earnings so thanks BBC for that)
  3. Bubbles are back! Tickets will be allocated to bubbles of 4 people and you will not be able to visit the studio in a group that is smaller or larger than 4
  4. As expected and widely reported there is no Blackpool Week in order to keep the show contained at Elstree Studios to better stay Covid Secure for cast, crew and audience

Remember if you are lucky enough to get a ticket for a recording on a spoiler weekend moles are always appreciated. Whilst The Strictly Spoiler was one of the few sources able to maintain a complete spoiler service during 2020 even in lockdown when there were no moles the spoiler game is much easier when there is a mole. The best way to volunteer your services as a mole is through the Facebook Page by sending me a message although you can also contact me through the comments system or over on Twitter.

We’re heading into Strictly season so traffic to this site, and therefore my costs will soon start to sky rocket. If you want to help me out with these costs with a one time donation you can do so using THIS LINK or the button below. Please only do so if you can afford to do so and there is no obligation on anyone to help me out this way.

Or why not join the crew on patreon? New for 2021 I have more than a warm fuzzy feeling on offer for my patreon subscribers as patreon subscribers gain exclusive access to the results of the exit poll each week. The earliest indication as to how the public vote has gone providing a possible spoiler hours before any other source as soon as The BBC vote closes each week. Plus the spoiler will be shared to patreon subscribers free of other monetisation in an ad free form! All for less than the price of a coffee each month!

Or you can support me and earn yourselves £50 in the bargain by checking your energy prices and switching to Octopus Energy. Octopus have cheap green renewable energy, are a Which recommended supplier and are routinely cheaper than the energy price cap that many suppliers set their prices based on. The energy market is in turmoil at the moment with prices sky rocketing and the energy price cap due to rise by about £150 so this is a really good time to check you are on the best deal!

Stay tuned for full details of the 2021 competition where you will be able to win the biggest prize I have ever given away (barring Covid issues preventing me running it). More details very soon!
