  • Jamie Laing Withdraws From Strictly Come Dancing 2019

    The BBC have just a few minutes ago announced that Jamie Laing has withdrawn from participating during the 2019 series due to injury.

    This obviously also potentially leaves his partner who was revealed in the pairings spoiler as being benched without a partner unless a reserve contestant is brought in.

    Speaking to the BBC Executive Producer Sarah James had this to say about the news: “We are so sad that Jamie won’t be able to take part in the series, he had already lit up the ballroom during the launch show with his boundless energy and enthusiasm. We all wish him a full and speedy recovery”

    Jamie will still feature in the launch show scheduled for broadcast on Saturday 7th September as that was filmed last Friday however will play no further part in the series. It is unknown whether his popular professional partner will receive a back up participant or if she will be benched this series. If the series progresses with just 14 couples it is probable we will be looking at a 3 couple final like when Will Young withdrew during the series 3 years ago

    Over the last few weeks I have been asking you to predict which of the celebrities will be partnered with which of the professional dancers and the results are in!
