Complaints to the BBC

What do you think of the song choices and dances? Who are you most looking forward to? You can let me know your thoughts on that or anything else to do with the upcoming show right here in the comments or over on Facebook or Twitter.

Due to the lack of an audience whilst we are in lockdown 2.0 there will be changes to how the spoiler is sourced and how it will be presented to you, along with changes to its accuracy. You can read more about the changes on my preview post and also read more about what is happening and why on my FAQ post.

It’s been a tough year for all of us but providing this site is still going to cost me close to £1000 this series. I always stress this on the donation links but it is more important than ever in 2020 that you only consider helping me out with these costs if you can afford to do so. I would not want to cause anyone else hardship because they chose to help me out. However all donations are as ever gratefully received. You can make a one time donation by clicking on THIS LINK or using the button below:

Also new for 2020 you can make a regular donation by becoming a patreon. Donations on patreon start at just the price of a coffee a month and if the patreon page takes off I can start looking at patreon exclusive content/rewards.

There’s also ways you can help me out for free and even make some money yourself by doing so. One way I’ve been plugging on social media a lot these last few weeks is by checking your energy prices and earning yourselves £50 in the bargain by switching using my magic link (you must complete the switch using the link and not just get a quote which you come back to later). Octopus energy have 100% green electricity, are a Which recommended supplier and were one of the few suppliers to maintain a full telephone service during the pandemic. They’re a different supplier to the one I was recommending last series and are definitely worth a look as we head into the colder months.

Switching energy suppliers is quick (it takes about 2 minutes to sign up from my link and usually about 3 weeks for the process to complete), there is no interruption to your energy supply, no engineers have to visit and you don’t need to change you meters (unless you sign up to a smart tariff and don’t have a compatible meter). I get £50 from every switch so this does help me out quite a bit.

Alternatively you can help me out by doing things as simple as liking all my content, sharing it and getting involved in the discussions on the social networks. This all helps to increase my visibility and get me noticed on those networks and is also appreciated!

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 – Week 4 Discussion/Poll

Movie week is behind us and we’ve now got a comparatively normal couple of weeks of Strictly before the halloween spooktacular at the end of the month.

But who in week 4 blew you away? And who should be blown away? You can let me know your thoughts about that or anything else to do with tonight’s show right here in the comments section (you must be clicked into the individual post rather than on the home page to see the comments) or you can head on over to Facebook or Twitter and let me know your thoughts there. On Twitter remember to tag @davejthorp in your tweet and include #StrictlySpoiler

Each time you get involved in the discussion you earn an entry into the competition to win one of 3 iPads I have to give away this series. Full details of the competition can be found HERE. There’s also £50 Amazon vouchers to be won each week over on Facebook/Twitter so keep your eyes out for the hidden password on the spoiler post when it comes in and see those networks for more information on what you need to do to get involved!

Don’t forget to vote in this week’s poll to tell me who your favourites were. The poll will open right here when all 13 couples have danced and as always you will be able to select up to 3 options and it will give you all something to do while you refresh the site waiting for the spoiler to come in.

The last couple of spoilers have been pretty late but it is expected that tonight’s will be slightly earlier as the show finishes earlier tonight so they will start filming the not live results show much earlier than the last couple of weeks!

Do I provide you guys with a useful service? Well operating this website to provide you guys with the spoiler each week cost me over £1000 in hosting costs last series which was funded by generous donations from people just like you and this year will cost the same if not more. If you can afford to and want to help me out with these costs or if you just want to buy me a cool refreshing beer to thank me for all the spoilers you can do so using THIS LINK or the button below

Or you can earn yourself £50, support me for free and potentially save money on your energy bills if you check your prices and switch using MY LINK. Bulb will pay your exit fees if your old supplier charges any, do not charge any exit fees themselves so you are always free to switch and have 100% green energy at low prices. Win for the planet and win for your pocket!

You can also read about the numerous other ways you can support me and the work I do including more free ways to support me (and maybe earn yourself a few quid in the process) and additional ways to make a cash donation that do not attract fees like the PayPal donations do HERE

Finally please also give this post a good old like/share using the buttons for all popular social networks above and below or over on Facebook or Twitter. Your likes and shares help spread the word about The Strictly Spoiler and really do help me out!

Anneka Rice Eliminated From Strictly Come Dancing 2019

As revealed in last night’s Strictly Spoiler (and by Anneka herself in a subsequently deleted tweet), Anneka and Kevin have been eliminated after losing in the dance off to David and Nadiya.

You can relive their movie week dance in the video below:

Did the right couple leave? As always you can let me know your thoughts on that right here in the comments section or over on Facebook or Twitter. Each time you get involved in the discussion you earn an entry to potentially win one of three iPads I have to give away this series!

Speaking of winning well done to those of you on Facebook and Twitter who spotted the password of “Anton Du Beke” concealed in a trivia question within the spoiler post. One of you who got it right will be selected at random to win a £50 Amazon voucher shortly!

You can still vote in the Movie Week poll and tell me who your box office smashes were. As always you can select up to 3 options
