Strictly Come Dancing 2020 – Week 7 (Musicals Week/Quarter Final) Discussion/Poll

Strictly is hitting the musicals and it’s also the business end of the competition as we are at the quarter final! Seems weird saying that in week 7 but that’s 2020 for you….

But who was a broadway smash? And who should stick to amateur dramatics? You can let me know your thoughts about that or anything else to do with tonight’s show right here in the comments. Or head on over to Facebook or Twitter.

No prizes for getting involved in the discussion sadly. You can read more about why (though the reasons should be obvious) over on my my FAQ post which also covers a lot of information about what is happening with this site during lockdown 2.0 and possibly beyond.

As always I’ll be opening a poll right here when all the couples have danced. However the poll question has changed. I’m now asking who got your votes (or who would have if you live abroad and can’t vote or didn’t vote for another reason). You can as always select up to 3 options (if you voted for more than 3 people pick the three who got more votes from you or your favourite 3). If you can’t vote sadly the site thinks you are a robot. Theres some tips in the FAQ to get your vote registered but if the issue persists sadly I can’t do much about it

This poll is no longer accepting votes

Strictly 2020 Week 7 (Musicals Week/Quarter Final) - Who got your vote? (choose up to 3)

Other spoiler sources are struggling due to the lack of moles but The Strictly Spoiler prepared for the pandemic and was ready for lockdown. We might be out of lockdown 2.0 now but audiences haven’t returned yet so things will be the same around here as they’ve been the last few weeks.

A spoiler based on my exit poll will be landing later tonight. It hasn’t always been right but it’s more accurate if you look at the bigger picture rather than just the bottom two. Later on tonight I might get an unconfirmed bottom two but probably no result and as we saw last week even with a points gap dance offs can be closer than they look on paper. Confirmation or correction of the results should appear later tonight or at some point tomorrow morning at the very latest so keep checking back right here at the home of The Strictly Spoiler for the latest information as and when I get it!

If you are on the social networks please don’t post in the comments spoilers you have read elsewhere (especially if you’ve read them on Twitter). That turns this into a massive game of Chinese Whispers and makes it harder for us to know what is confirmed and what is not. I’ve managed to confirm a result every week of lockdown by Sunday lunchtime at the latest and whilst I know we are all impatient otherwise we wouldn’t be here and as soon as I have information to share the spoiler is posted or updated.

It’s been a tough year for all of us but providing this site is still going to cost me close to £1000 this series with my hosting bill for November hitting an eye watering £550. I always stress this on the donation links but it is more important than ever in 2020 that you only consider helping me out with these costs if you can afford to do so. I would not want to cause anyone else hardship because they chose to help me out. However all donations are as ever gratefully received. You can make a one time donation by clicking on THIS LINK or using the button below:

Also new for 2020 you can make a regular donation by becoming a patreon. Donations on patreon start at just the price of a coffee a month and if the patreon page takes off I can start looking at patreon exclusive content/rewards although that may have to happen next year as my focus at the moment is remaining operating during the pandemic without any audience moles.

There’s also ways you can help me out for free and even make some money yourself by doing so. One way I’ve been plugging on social media a lot these last few weeks is by checking your energy prices and earning yourselves £50 in the bargain by switching using my magic link (you must complete the switch using the link and not just get a quote which you come back to later). Octopus energy have 100% green electricity, are a Which recommended supplier and were one of the few suppliers to maintain a full telephone service during the pandemic. They’re a different supplier to the one I was recommending last series and are definitely worth a look as we head into the colder months.

Switching energy suppliers is quick (it takes about 2 minutes to sign up from my link and usually about 3 weeks for the process to complete), there is no interruption to your energy supply, no engineers have to visit and you don’t need to change you meters (unless you sign up to a smart tariff and don’t have a compatible meter). I get £50 from every switch so this does help me out quite a bit.

Also if you do switch to Octopus remember to enter their competition to win an electric car and other prizes. It will be available from your account dashboard!

Alternatively you can help me out by doing things as simple as liking all my content, sharing it and getting involved in the discussions on the social networks. This all helps to increase my visibility and get me noticed on those networks and is also appreciated!

Alex Scott Eliminated From Strictly Come Dancing 2019

As revealed in last night’s Strictly Spoiler, Alex and Neil have been eliminated after losing in the Dance Off to Chris and Karen.

You can relive their Blackpool Paso Doble in the video below:

Did the right couple leave? As always you can let me know your thoughts about that or anything else to do with tonight’s results show right here in the comments section below (you must be on an individual post rather than the home page to see the comments section) or head on over to Twitter or Facebook. On Twitter remember to tag @davejthorp in your comments and include #StrictlySpoiler. Each time you get involved in the discussion on either of the social networks or here at the home of The Strictly Spoiler you earn an entry to potentially win an iPad at the end of the series.

Talking of winning I can reveal that Twitter won the coin toss this week. One of you on there who spotted the hidden password of “Andrew Lloyd Webber” in the spoiler post will be getting a rewarding DM shortly

You can still vote in this week’s poll and tell me who your finalists are (hopefully none of the dance off couples). Please select 3 options!

I should have a bonus spoiler for you at some point next week as the Christmas special is being filmed on Tuesday so make sure you check back for that!

Providing you guys with the spoiler and Strictly news costs me over £1000 a year in web hosting costs which last year was helped out by people just like you. Or you can now set up a regular donation to help support me every month using the button below. If you’d rather make a one time donation you should use the PayPal link/button above!

It’s bloody freezing out there which means you should check your energy prices and make sure you are on a good deal before your usage goes up. Switching takes 2 minutes and if you switch using MY LINK you can earn yourself £50 and you also support me for free. Bulb will pay your exit fees if your old supplier charges any, do not charge any exit fees themselves so you are always free to switch and have 100% green energy at low prices. Win for the planet and win for your pocket!

You can also read about the numerous other ways you can support me and the work I do including more free ways to support me (and maybe earn yourself a few quid in the process) and additional ways to make a cash donation that do not attract fees like the PayPal donations do HERE

Finally please also give this post a good old like/share using the buttons for all popular social networks above and below or over on Facebook or Twitter. Your likes and shares help spread the word about The Strictly Spoiler and really do help me out!

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 – Week 11 (Musicals Week/Quarter Final) Spoilers

Strictly hit the musicals but the 5 remaining couples will be hoping that they are a smash hit and can sing and dance their way into next week’s semi final. But one couple has again fallen and I can reveal the results in the penultimate spoiler of the series (barring next week’s Christmas spoiler). So here they are:

Chris and Alex had to dance off. The judges saved Chris. Alex was eliminated!

Complaints to the BBC

This week’s spoiler has come from an audience mole through the spoiler groups I work with and should be accurate.

What do you think of the results? As always you can let me know right here in the comments section (make sure you are clicked in to an individual post to view the comments section) or over on Twitter or Facebook. On Twitter remember to tag @davejthorp and include #StrictlySpoiler in your comments. Each time you join the discussion you earn an entry to potentially win an iPad in either the November or December draw depending on when you comment!

Talking of winning don’t forget that if you can spot the hidden password in this spoiler post and reply to the competition posts on Facebook or Twitter with the password and #StrictlySpoilerComp you could win a £50 Amazon UK Voucher. Entries close at the start of tomorrow’s not live results show and the draw will take place shortly after the results show.
