The final is so close but for one couple it might as well be a million miles away. But who sailed into next week’s final and who fell at the final hurdle. You don’t need to wait a day when there is the Strictly Spoiler on hand to tell you the results. So here are the results:
Gemma and Mollie had to dance off. The judges saved Gemma. Mollie was eliminated!
The finalists are (in no particular order):
Joe and Katya
Debbie and Giovanni
Alexandra and Gorka
Gemma and Aljaz

This week’s spoiler has come from an audience mole through my usual sources and has been confirmed by a second source and should be accurate.
Don’t forget I’ve still got a two for one on on spoilers and you can check out the spoiler that all the newspapers were talking about….. the Christmas Special Spoiler.
I’ve been busy migrating this site to another new web host to try and keep it up this weekend so no winners to tell you about. I will catch up with the prize draws by the end of the series.
Do you want to win prizes? All you need to do to win one of three £20 Amazon UK vouchers I have to give away each and every week of this series is join the discussion either right here in the comments section below (only appears on single posts and not the homepage) or over on Facebook or Twitter
On the subject of moving web hosts my new hosting solution has already cost me £40 since I deployed it on Monday afternoon but more importantly IT STAYED UP AT PEAK TIMES (barring a slight blip at 21:30 which I rapidly adapted to). If you want to help out with the hosting costs or just want to buy me a pint you can donate using the button below (which paypal take a cut from) or this link which sends me all the money. Please only do this if you can definitely afford to do so and do not feel any kind of obligation to do so
Please also take a few moments to read my annual thank you post where I thank a number of people who contributed towards another successful year for the Strictly Spoiler and talk about this series and my year in general.
Finally don’t forget you can vote in this week’s poll and tell me who you want to see lift the glitterball next week. Only one option can be selected this week!
Strictly was at the musicals and I’ve got a two for one on spoilers tonight as not only is there the regular elimination spoiler but there’s also the spoiler that all the newspapers are talking about as there’s no other important world events happening right now. The Christmas Special Spoiler is here for your viewing pleasure. But I’m sure most of you are here to learn who made the semi final. So here are the results:
Davood and Alexandra had to dance off. The judges saved Alexandra. Davood was eliminated!

No winners to tell you about tonight as the site move, and various site issues as well university have gotten in the way of me drawing the prize draws for last week and this week. I’ll have 6 winners to tell you about on the elimination post tomorrow.
Do you want to win prizes? Of course you do and all you need to do is join the discussion below in the comments section which displays on individual posts only. Or you can head over to Facebook or Twitter and join the discussions there.
Sorry no poll this week as the caching being used to try and keep the site up at peak times is not compatible with the poll software.
Don’t forget to give this post a good old like or share using the buttons for all major social networks and Google+ above and below.
Donations are still open to help with my ever increasing hosting costs which increased by another £15 a month tonight as I had to allocate more resources to my server. Or you can just buy me a much needed pint. The button below will see paypal take a cut from the money or you can use THIS LINK which paypal will not take a cut from. Thanks to the many of you who have helped out with the hosting costs. I’ve spent £100 on my new hosting this week and without you guys it wouldn’t have been possible
The festive grinch is back out to ruin Christmas for millions of Strictly viewers as several newspapers claimed last year. Or more accurately The Strictly Spoiler is back providing a highly demanded (so demanded it routinely breaks web servers) service for many thousands of Strictly viewers who all actively seek it out! But never let facts get in the way of lazy journalism. Incidentally if any journalists want to take issue with me posting the Christmas Special Spoiler much of what I wrote in last year’s Note To Editors is still valid! Shorter version however is that I’m doing this because thousands of people want me to. Anyway I’ve waffled on enough. Here for, those of you who want to know, are the Christmas Special results:
- Jeremy Vine and Karen Clifton
- Katie Derham and Brendan Cole
- Colin Jackson and Amy Dowden
- Robbie Savage and Diane Buswell
- Judy Murray and Neil Jones
- Kimberley Walsh and Pasha Kovalev
The special was won by Katie and Brendan
