Strictly Come Dancing 2021 – Launch Show Discussion/Poll

Here we go. Strictly season is officially upon us with the next 14 Saturday nights featuring our favourite TV show. Whilst we might already know all the pairings thanks to the pairings spoiler there’s still going to be a lot to talk about during tonight’s launch show.

You can let me know your thoughts about anything to do with tonight’s show right here in the comments or over on Facebook or Twitter. No prizes yet but this years competition kicks off next Saturday and its a huge one as one of you will be winning a massive £500 in Amazon Vouchers. But only if you are brave enough to reject the regular weekly prize. You can find out more details and how to get involved here.

I will also be opening a poll right here once all the couples are announced so watch out for that. As always you’ll be able to pick 3 favourites.

BBC Opens Audience Ticket Ballot For 2021 Series

The BBC have in the last few days opened the audience ticket ballot for the 2021 series. Anyone wishing to be in the audience can apply to The BBC at The BBC Shows and Tours website.

The ballot is open until 10pm on 25th August 2021. Reviewing the website there are a few things to take away from the information there about how audiences and the 2021 series will work in general

The Launch Show is being filmed on Saturday 11th September 2021. It is not clear if the show will be broadcast live on this date or if it is being pre recorded like normal for broadcast on a future date. This means there may not be a pairings spoiler if the show goes out live
The main series runs as expected starting from 25th September 2021 until the final on 18th December 2021. The first spoiler weekend will be on 2nd October 2021 (just after the cut off date for my September earnings so thanks BBC for that)
Bubbles are back! Tickets will be allocated to bubbles of 4 people and you will not be able to visit the studio in a group that is smaller or larger than 4
As expected and widely reported there is no Blackpool Week in order to keep the show contained at Elstree Studios to better stay Covid Secure for cast, crew and audience

Remember if you are lucky enough to get a ticket for a recording on a spoiler weekend moles are always appreciated. Whilst The Strictly Spoiler was one of the few sources able to maintain a complete spoiler service during 2020 even in lockdown when there were no moles the spoiler game is much easier when there is a mole. The best way to volunteer your services as a mole is through the Facebook Page by sending me a message although you can also contact me through the comments system or over on Twitter.
