Strictly Come Dancing 2021 Finalists – Rose and Giovanni

Here we are with the first part of my 3 part series taking a look at this year’s finalists and their journey to the final. We will be taking them in the order of qualification which means we begin with Rose and Giovanni…..

Worst Dance

As it probably should be we have to journey all the way back to week 1 of the competition for their worst routine. Their Jive during the first show of the series scored 22 points with the judges (6,6,4,6)

Best Dance

Rose and Giovanni have had all 4 judges reaching for their 10 paddles on two occasions this series. The first was the earliest maximum score ever and came in week 6 following their Tango (10,10,10,10)

The second occasion came during last weekend’s semi final. With Rose continuing her strong Tango performance this time during the Argentine Tango (10,10,10,10)

Average Score

Rose and Giovanni have amassed a total of 447 points across 13 routines making for an average of 34.4. This is marginally the lowest of the 3 finalists but all 3 finalists do have similar averages

Number of times in the Dance Off

Rose and Giovanni are the only couple this series (barring Robert and Dianne who withdrew) to have never landed in the Dance Off this series

Can they win?

The better question is can they lose. Momentum has been building and building for this couple since about week 3 of the series and they have been the odds on favourites with the bookmakers for weeks on weeks now. 71% of visitors to this website want them to lift the glitter ball tomorrow night.

The final is a lot closer in terms of ability but in terms of public support, the journey this couple of been on, how Rose has embraced Strictly despite not being able to hear the music she is dancing to and the beautiful partnership Rose and Giovanni have formed its going to take a very strong final and a massive shift in the public opinion to see anyone but Rose and Giovanni crowned as champions tomorrow

Will you be supporting Rose and Giovanni? As always you can let me know your thoughts about that over on Facebook or Twitter. Each time you get involved in the discussion on the social networks you earn an entry into the biggest competition I have ever run with a whopping £500 voucher up for grabs for one lucky winner this series. Full details of the competition can be found here.

Strictly Come Dancing 2021 – Week 12 Discussion/Polls

It’s the semi finals which of course makes this the final spoiler weekend of the series as not even The BBC are stupid enough to pre record the results of the final. But before that there’s the semi final to get through and two routines from each of our 4 semi finalists.

But who deserves a shot at lifting the Glitterball next weekend and who should fall at the final hurdle? You can let me know your thoughts on that or anything else to do with tonight’s show right here in the comments or over on Facebook or Twitter. Each time you get involved in the discussion on the social networks you earn an entry into this year’s huge competition where one of you will be winning a £500 voucher. But only if you are brave enough to turn down the regular weekly prize. Time is running out to get involved in the competition! There’s just 2 more weeks and 4 more chances to get yourselves in the huge end of series draw!

Once again I’m treating you guys this week as I’m running two polls. The first is the normal one where you can tell me who got your votes with The BBC this week. As always you can select up to 3 options.

This poll is no longer accepting votes

Week 12 - Who got your vote (select up to 3)

Also I am asking who your winner is. You can only select 1 option in this poll. Both polls will open once all the couples have danced! Results will be available shortly after 11pm or when the spoiler comes in, whichever is first!

This poll is no longer accepting votes

Who do you want to win Strictly Come Dancing 2021? (select 1 option only)

Don’t forget I’ve got a 2 for 1 on spoilers this weekend as the festive spoiler came in this week giving you the chance to know what you are getting for Christmas!

And please take a few minutes to check out my annual thanks post where I talk about another huge year for this site!

My November hosting bill was an eye watering £887.29 which I’m sure we can all agree is huge. If I provide you a useful service please if you can please considering helping me out with these costs by making a one time donation using THIS LINK (make sure to click send and not request) or the button below. Please only do so if you can afford to do so and there is no obligation on anyone to help me out this way.

As is normally the case this series due to moles being an endangered species it may be Sunday morning before I am able to bring you a result however as soon as I have a confirmed full result to share I will do right here at the home of the Strictly Spoiler. Or follow me on the socials to be pinged when I post to the website. Please do not bombard me with messages on the socials asking if I have heard. If nothing has been posted the answer is no! Also please do not post what you’ve read elsewhere on my socials (Facebook especially). This turns the spoiler game into a game of Chinese whispers and most other sources have been wrong at least once so far this series!
