Strictly Come Dancing 2018 – Week 9 (Blackpool) Songs/Dances

Well its been a fun couple of days here in Strictly Spoiler towers with the media once again demonstrating an inability to write an original story about something that is actually newsworthy and deciding to vilify me for posting the spoiler everyone is talking about but no one actually cares about: The Children In Need Spoiler

Anyway I digress, the BBC have just announced details of just what songs and dances the couples will be performing to in the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool on Saturday and I can reveal that:

  • Ashley and Pasha Jive to ‘Shake Ya Tail Feather’ from The Blues Brothers
  • Charles and Karen Samba to ‘La Bamba’ by Connie Francis
  • Faye and Giovanni Paso Doble to ‘Unstoppable’ by E. S. Posthumus
  • Graeme and Oti perform a Couples’ Choice in the style of Theatre and Jazz to ‘The Trolley Song’ from Meet Me in St. Louis
  • Joe and Dianne Quickstep to ‘Dancin’ Fool’ from Copacabana
  • Kate and Aljaz American Smooth to ‘Everlasting Love’ by Love Affair
  • Lauren and AJ Argentine Tango to ‘River’ by Bishop Briggs
  • Stacey and Kevin Salsa to ‘Ooh Ahh (Just A Little Bit)’ by Gina G

Complaints to the BBC

What do you think of the song choices? As always you can let me know your thoughts right here in the comments section or you can head on over to Facebook or Twitter and let me know your thoughts there. On Twitter remember to tag @davejthorp and include #StrictlySpoiler

Don’t forget you can vote in last weeks poll still and tell me who your favourites were from week 8. As always I will let you pick up to 3 options

Hosting and operating this site now costs me several hundred pounds a month to provide several high powered web servers to keep the site up at peak times. If you can afford to, and want to, help me out with the costs or just want to buy me a beer (and man do I need a beer after the last couple of days) you can use THIS LINK or the button below

Danny John-Jules Eliminated From Strictly Come Dancing 2018

As revealed in last night’s Strictly Spoiler Danny and Amy will not be getting on the bus to Blackpool after losing in the Dance Off to Graeme and Oti.

You can relive their Jive which Craig (incorrectly) labelled as a Dance for the Final in the video below:

Did the right couple leave? Was this a victory for the gutter press (who as well as hounding Danny and Amy this week have been targeting me for posting the Children in Need Spoiler today)? As always you can let me know your thoughts on that or anything else to do with this weekend right here in the comments section below (only viewable on single posts). Or you can head on over to Facebook or Twitter to let me know your thoughts on those networks (on Twitter tag @davejthorp and include #StrictlySpoiler)

On the subject of The Children In Need Spoiler which is being talked about in the UK Press, The Strictly Spoiler today made a donation of £100 to Children In Need and proof of this is available on Facebook or Twitter using the links above or on the spoiler post itself

You can still vote in this week’s poll and tell me who your week 8 favourites were. As always I’ll let you pick up to 3 options

Finally hosting this website costs me several hundred pounds a month to provide a cluster of ultra powerful web servers which are needed to keep the site operating at peak times when the spoiler comes in. If you can afford to and want to help me out with these costs or just want to buy me a beer (and beer is always very much needed when the press are writing stories about me) you can use THIS LINK or the button below
