RIP Sir Bruce Forsyth

It is with deep regret that it is being reported that Sir Bruce Forsyth has died at the age of 89.

Sir Bruce as well as hosting Strictly from its launch in 2004 until 2014 has had a career in show business spanning decades and has been a huge figure in so many people’s lives. As a child of the 80s I grew up with shows such as Play Your Cards Right and The Generation Game.

It is highly unlikely we will see the likes of Sir Bruce, a man so dedicated to entertaining the nation, again in our lifetimes.

The Strictly Spoiler expresses its deepest sympathies to Lady Wilnelia Forsyth and the rest of Sir Bruce’s family and friends at this difficult time and grieves along with you.
